Kun and Miller at UNH were just recently informed that their proposal was recommended for NSF funding. Thus, at this point we are still working on finalizing the program schedule with Schmidt at Stuttgart. However, we have the following approximate dates:
- The program will begin sometime between May 26 and July 1.
- The program will ideally be 9 weeks long, with about 8.5 weeks spent in Stuttgart. If the program starts closer to July 1, and if a student has to return to her/his home institution in less than 9 weeks, we will shorten the program for that student.
- At the beginning of the program, participating students will meet at a US location (likely Boston), for a 1-3 day preparatory meeting. This meeting will cover logistics, as well as introduce students to the relevant research questions.
